Arrive in Cairo, a city that has served as the heart of Egypt for centuries. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be welcomed by your representative, who will assist you with arrival formalities and luggage procedures.

After meeting your representative, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo. During the drive, you will receive a brief orientation about the city and what to expect in the coming days.

Check in at your Cairo hotel and take time to rest and refresh after your journey. The remainder of the day is free for relaxation.

Pyramides de Gizeh :

Les Pyramides de Gizeh sont l'un des monuments les plus anciens et emblématiques du monde, situés à la périphérie du Caire, en Égypte. Les Pyramides de (Khéops, également connue sous le nom de Grande Pyramide, Khéphren et Mykérinos) ont été construites il y a plus de 4 500 ans comme tombes pour les pharaons de l'Égypte ancienne.

Sphinx :

Le Sphinx est une massive statue en pierre d'une créature mythique avec un corps de lion et une tête humaine. Il est situé sur le plateau de Gizeh, devant la Pyramide de Khafre. Le Sphinx a plus de 4 500 ans et est l'un des monuments les plus célèbres et reconnaissables d'Égypte.

Vallée des Rois

Begin your exploration at the Vallée des Rois, the burial ground of Egypt’s New Kingdom pharaohs. Hidden deep within desert cliffs, the tombs were carved to protect royal mummies and treasures. Inside, you’ll see vividly preserved wall paintings illustrating ancient beliefs about the afterlife, the journey of the soul, and the gods who guided it. The valley famously includes the tomb of King Tutankhamun.

Continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s most striking architectural masterpieces. Built into towering limestone cliffs, this terraced temple was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most powerful female rulers in ancient history. Its elegant colonnades and reliefs depict scenes of trade expeditions, religious rituals, and royal achievements.

Colosses de Memnon

Stop at the Colosses de Memnon, two massive seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These statues once guarded the entrance to a vast mortuary temple and have stood watch over the Theban plain for more than 3,400 years.

After completing your West Bank visits, return to your Nile cruise for lunch. The afternoon is free for relaxation on board, followed by dinner and overnight as the cruise remains docked in Luxor.

Its exceptional preservation offers a vivid glimpse into ancient temple life.

Temple of Kom Ombo

Continue sailing to Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely designed as a double temple honoring two gods. One side is dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god associated with fertility and the Nile, while the other honors Haroeris, a form of Horus. The temple’s symmetrical layout and detailed reliefs related to medicine and healing make it especially distinctive.

Return to the cruise and enjoy dinner on board as the ship sails onward toward Aswan, arriving later in the evening.

Explore the Obélisque inachevé, still lying in the granite quarry where it was abandoned due to a crack. This site offers rare insight into how ancient Egyptians carved and transported massive obelisks.

Very early in the morning, depart from Aswan for a desert drive to Temples d'Abou Simbel, located near the Sudanese border.

Temples d'Abou Simbel

Visit the monumental rock-cut temples built by Ramses II. The main temple honors the king himself, while the second is dedicated to his beloved queen Nefertari. Famous for their colossal statues and solar alignment, the temples were relocated in the 1960s to save them à partir de flooding — one of the greatest archaeological rescue operations in history.
