Catacombes de Kom El Shoqafa :

Les catacombes de Kom El Shoqafa sont un ancien site funéraire à Alexandrie. Elles ont été découvertes en 1900 et sont considérées comme datant du 2ème siècle après J.-C. Les catacombes présentent une série de chambres et de tunnels, avec des sculptures et des décorations complexes qui mélangent les styles égyptien, grec et romain.

Colonne de Pompée :

La Colonne de Pompée est une colonne triomphale romaine située à Alexandrie. Elle mesure plus de 25 mètres de haut et est faite de granit rouge d'Assouan. Malgré son nom, elle n'a rien à voir avec le général romain Pompée et a été érigée en l'honneur de l'empereur Dioclétien au 4ème siècle après J.-C.
